FX One Quarter not working- help!

Fairly new to Vegas here, so pardon me if this is a stupid question... when editing some picture compilations and using color correction FX, the top left quarter of the pictures remain unchanged. Is this supposed to happen so I can see the adjustments better? Does it go away with rendering? Where can I find out more about this? Any help is appreciated!!!

Try turning off the Split Screen View on the video preview window. It’s the 4th icon from the left just to the left of where you change the preview quality. It sounds like you may have this turned on. (and yes, its purpose is so you can see the changes and no, it won’t affect the rendered video)
