I posted a topic about Ultra 2 ( I probably should buy it, but the price is a bit steep ), sooo, what about CompositeLab Pro? Anyone using it? The big question I have is, do they both use vector keying? Or does CompositeLab Pro use chromakeying? For those using it, does it do a good job?

Having spent some time reading through this, the revieq does say the CK does need a lot of tweaking so I'd say no, not vector based.

Not to say that this program is a dog, for the money it might be worth having in the tookit. It's a complete compositing application and designed for those who don't want to spent a lifetime learning compositing, looks very interesting

Ultra 2 is I believe the best DV keyer there is.

Dude go to the fxhome forums for stuff like this. I've been thinking of buying this product for a while. They have a HUGE community of users who have created some wild stuff using their products. I'd be stunned if someone said it was crap. Download some of the movies and see for yourself.

I have recently upgraded to CompositeLab Pro and have gotten pretty decent results -- DV is not the easiest format to get a good chroma key.

It's apparently written using the Lingo scripting language provided with Macromedia Director, so it's not the fastest app in the world. In fact, I've read where all of the FXHome products are written using Director.
