I do not believe there currently is a way to import masks (unless someone writes some code). However, if you have Boris BCC you can import tracking data (I think John Rofrano a.k.a. JohnnyRoy, has a tutorial on that).

It does save the full series of masked frames in the results folder. Which you can then import into Vegas via import media with frames option. However the mask are black and white. If there is a way to change either color to a translucent, they would be usable as a fully tracked mask.

The mask are definitely generated when you use the insert module, I think they may also be generated when the remove module is used. Check you "Results" folder for layer mask

Good call John, I totally forgot about those image sequences.

You can import the mask layers as a sequence via import media in vegas. Then the vegas properties tab will open, where you can select what to do with the alpha channel. I tried setting it to straight and it imported the tiff sequence with the unmasked area as transparent. I haven't tried it on any projects yet.
