I just downloaded and installed Gearshift 1.7. Gearshift now can work it's magic with AVCHD .mts clips as well. This is probably the best way to work with the AVCHD video from any of the new Sony hard disc and solid state HD camcorders. Thanks JR!

I see a whole second life for Gearshift as a way of working with AVCHD video.

Are there any other improvements in this release of Gearshift?
