I haven't used GearShift for a few weeks. When I came back to it today, I got,
"null is not a valid value for 'stream'.
What does this mean and how do I get GS to work again? Any clues I should follow?
Thanks!
If its what I think it is, it means you are not using GearShift 1.5.1 and your license has expired. The "null is not a valid value for 'stream'.” error is cause by a missing resource in GearShift 1.5.0 that is fixed in 1.5.1. The missing resource is in the dialog that displays when your license expires.
You need to apply a valid license key to continue using GearShift. (also download the latest copy for other improvements)
You're right. I was using 1.5.0. I went to 1.5.2 and the "null" problem went away. Now it thinks I'm evaluating it.
All I have to do is figure out how to tell it I have a license (I went to the license installer, but that didn't help -yet).
Thanks for the help. I'm on the right path now.
Edit: It's all worked out now... I read the instuctions (click on the VASST logo) and life is good.
Thanks again.
