I have Vegas 21. Can I move media generated in one project to another? If so, how would I go about doing that?

The only way I know is to have two instances of Vegas open, the project with your generated media and your current project. Then copy and paste from one to the other.

You can save generated media (text, solid color etc) as a preset to use it in other projects.
