Generated text not displaying

I've been having this problem for two weeks now, and please bear with me, I am new to this stuff. When I create a new generated text, it doesn't show in preview unless I put in on solo, which is what I don't want to do since it blocks out other tracks. I've searched around on the internet, but there isn't much information on this. I am using version 15 of Vegas Pro, Windows 10 Home edition, 4gb ram and a 64bit OS with an x64 based processor. I know there are newer versions of Vegas Pro, but people with the latest versions have been experiencing this problem too.

Nobody I've seen around has been experiencing this problem with any version of Vegas. Care to give us a screenshot of your timeline with the text selected but not displaying? It would help to see what settings you have going on your tracks and such.

@NightlyTyrone The track containing text event must be above any image/video track
