What's the computer? Can you undervolt, increase fan speed and remove overclocking?

I see it's a AMD FX-8350 (2012?) and Radeon R7 200 with 2GB ram (2013). That's getting old for Vegas standards, though I don't know what version of Vegas you are using. If it's VP 18, it's below minimum specs.

If it's a heat issue you can try the things I mentioned to address it but I don't know what software or controls are available to change voltage or clock speed of AMD processors.
