Getting mpg & wav together

I have the latest version of vegas and DVD Architect Studio. When I prepare a video in Vegas to be burned to a dvd, it makes a mpg and wav file of the video (mpg for video and wav for audio of course), however, in DVD architect, it doesn't put the wav file on the dvd. It shows the file on the audio portion, but it doesn't play it or burn it to the dvd. Also, the program does not allow me to add scene selections to make chapters selections for a menu. The video has chapters, but the scene selections is greyed out.

Suggestions?

Make a seperate audio and video file. First choose the AC-3 encoder, and render (you'll get a xxxx.ac3 file). Then use the MainConcept II encoder for VIDEO ONLY for the mpeg. When you go into the explorer in DVDA, double click on the .mpg file and it will automatically select the corresponding .ac3 file (the files have to have the same name, like project.ac3 and project.mpg)

I don't understand why Vegas would render a .wav file unless you set it to...

Re-read his post -- he's using the Studio version. It doesn't have the AC3 encoder.
