Getting rid of the motion blur...

I have read a a bunch of the topics on motion blur, but none of them seem to help me. I am using Vegas 5.0, and am working on a project that is heavy on special effects. In the shot I am woking on now, I am cutting a moving person out of a shot frame by frame using the mask tool in Event Pan/Crop. the problem is, when I view the shot in anything other than "draft", it blends the shots together and includes some of the background in the shots. I have tried selection bypass motion blur on the track, but that is not doing anything, even after the shot is rendered. does anyone know what I need to do to get rid of this problem?

Deinterlace first, the do the work, then reinterlace.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are saying to do, as everytime I change the deinterlace section, the render always looks the same. I spent a number of hours cutting the character out frame by frame, and it looks great in Draft view, but terible in every view or when rendering. I have been working with vegas for a few years (I am using Vegas 5), but am just learning some of these new things. can you please explain what you are telling me to do or tell me about someother way to fix this problem. thanks.

If it looks good before the render, perhaps check "disable resample" in properties of that clip??
