getting sound back

Is there any way to get the sound back for a split clip after the fact? When I
get involved in a project I somehow disassociate the sound from the clip. I t's either moved over or under another clip or I've inadvertantly deleted it.
example: the shortened clip is on the timeline with no sound. Can I somehow add the original sound back to that paticular clip? kind like when you import a clip and it comes in with it's sound.

Movie Studio is non destructive, which means it does not effect your original file. You can change the media any way you want and the original stays the same as it was. If the clip is still in the Media Pool, then delete the clip from the timeline and bring back the original from the media pool. If it was deleted from the Media Pool, then import it again
