Getting video footage into my computer

Hey all,
I have a Canon ZR800, i just got Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platnum 9.
I was just wondering the easiest way to get my footage out of my camera and into my computer.

IEEE 1394 Firewire cable.

Then go into Vegas, click File, Import, DV.
