GL Transitions Causes Black Bar to Appear in Rendered Vertical Videos

Scroll down for info about my PC/settings

The issue: Whenever I render a vertical vertical video with GL transitions, during the GL transition there will be a black bar in the top half of the screen. Sometimes it's a small portion of the screen at the top, sometimes it's much larger (I think it depends on the aspect ratio, taller aspect ratio = more screen covered up.)

Please note that I am NOT having these issues with horizontal 16:9 aspect ratio. The two aspect ratios I've tried so far that have the issues are 9:16 (1080x1920) and 4:5 (1080x1350) This is not visible in the preview window unrendered, but I can see it in the preview window while rendering. Another issue is that around 30% of the time when I click on GL Transitions it will crash Vegas Pro, but that seems like a separate issue.

Also note that I am NOT having these issues with any other transitions (non-GL,) it is JUST with the GL transitions that I am having these issues

Here is a demo file using Vegas Media Generator horizontal/vertical blinds and the default GL transition

Thanks for posting the details.

In order to rule out incidental error, you can try a few things:

If there is still no change in the rendered file, you should add "[Bug]" to your topic title to make sure it gets read by the right people during this busy time.

Thank you for the reply. Resetting Vegas to defaults fixed the issue. I have no idea what caused it in the first place. I had already tried new projects (this is an issue that I was facing across multiple different projects) and disabling GPU acceleration. I only have 1 GPU
