Global clip duration

I have 165 clips that I'd like to be 7 seconds each. Is there a way to do this globally? This will save gobs of time!
If not what's an easy way?

Options - preferences - editing - new still image length.

That's for stills though right? I'd like to do that to stills and video clips on a 22 minute video. Can I do this to pre-existing clips and stills on the timeline?

Yes, via scripting. Both Excalibur and Ultimate S can do this.
