Global properties when importing stills

Hello everyone

First post on this forum. I am currently working on a very large project involving in excess of 2500 large jpeg files. The project is setup as HD 24p 5mbs I will be rendering it as window video. Is it possible to import all the stills and have them automatically acquire the output aspect ratio of the project properties ? As it stands I have to select the pan/crop icon and set the match output aspect for each photo. On the same topic is it possible to change the transition type to say sony flash all in one swoop or do I have to change each transition independently.

Thanks

There's a free "Match Aspect" script here. (You may have to change "SonicFoundry" to "Sony" to get it to work)

If you want to change ALL transitions to a different transition, simply select ALL the events and drag the desired transition to one of the selected overlaps.

Ed,

I didn't know that. Neat!

Thanks, that worked really well !!
Any idea how I can apply the " Match Output Aspect " property that is located in the event /pan crop properties window to a selected number of stills ? or better yet is it possible to set this as a default when inporting stills ?

Thanks

The script will work on selected events and does the same thing as picking "Match Output Aspect" in Pan/Crop. You'll need to run the script on any imported stills or manually do it in Pan/Crop.
