Globally adjust length of time for slides in a slide show

I know there must be a way to adjust all of the display time for sides in a slide show, but I've been trying to figure it out for over an hour. Anyone know how to do it?

Hold down the Shift key and open your Options. You'll find a tab marked Internal. I forget the exact name (and I'm away from my software, sorry) but look for something with Stills in it. I think the default number is like 50000000 -- which means 5 seconds. Change that 5 to the number of seconds you'd like your default to be.
