Glow using image's own colors?

I'd like to add a slight glow to a shot but I want the glow color to be the image's own colors, like with After Effects' glow effect and its "original colors" setting. The dropper tool in Vegas' glow effect doesn't work for this shot because I've got a few hot spots of different colors I want glowing, and I want them to glow in their own colors.

I'm still using Vegas 4, and I'm wondering if a.) I'm missing some way to do this or b.) if upgrading to the latest version would give me this ability.

Thanks.

Just select the Glow fx multiplied by the number of colors you want to isolate and use, seperately, the dropper tool for each color.

Ex: open fx window, select Glow then Add, then Glow then Add again, etc... you'll end up with 30 Glow fx in your fx chain, each one assigned to a specific color.
