I actually bought a Worldtech keyboard for Vegas back when I had Vegas 5 or 6 (I don't remember). They icons are laser etched into the keyboard. I met the owner at NAB a few years back and was very impressed that after I told him I owned one he wanted to know how I liked it and he told me if I ever had any problems with it, ever, just to call him and he would take care of me. I still use the same one to this day.
The one you are referring to- I don't have a clue about. It helps if you add a link to what you are referring to.
I too bought a WorldTech Vegas keyboard, second worst thing I have ever bought as it's a total failure for typing and one does a lot of that in this game.
More recently I bought the Logickeyboard Vegas keyboard and while not up there with my UniComp keyboard it is way better than the WorldTech.
Yes. It's provides no 'feel' to the keys. It's not broken as such, just not a keyboard I'd recommend. I bought it years ago from Videguys (usa) as a package deal with a Shuttle. I think last time I mentioned this someone else from here was of the same opinion.
OK, here's the thing. WorldTech is now part of LogicKeyboards. If my memory serves me well sometime after I bought my WorldTech keyboard they started using a better keyboard. It's quite likely the WorldTech keyboard you have and the LogicKeyboard I have are the same unit. The WorldTech one I'm complaining about is now obsolete.
ps. If you want a really good keyboard for typing then invest in a UniComp. It's heavy, it makes a noise, the keys have a very positive feel to them. Unicomp bought the rights to the IBM buckling spring design. People were paying good money for the old IBM keyboards from the days of the System 34/36 and UniComp stepped in to fill the demand.
