RichMakDonald suggested to somebody here on the forum to go on the Mike Crash site if he wanted to correct noise on some of his clips.
Well, I just went on this site by curiosity and found out this guy's developping a filter that "will enable preview on TV output with DVDMax feature of Matrox cards. It will create overlay window, which will be duplicated on TV output" It's in development.

this is not always a good thing if you do detailed color work and such -- as the matrox output is not the same as true video out ... be good for editing though ...

Do you think there could be a way to ajust the ouput so it gets close to true video out? I mean, using th Matrox Quickdesk or something like the Adobe Gamma app ?
I ask because I already use the output from my Matrox graph.card to TV and it doesn't seem so bad.
Nothing to do with my laptop which has this ATI card and from which I get a messy ouput to TV ; in fact, I have to use the "twin" option which replicates the computer screen on TV. Baaad.
