Good PAL video stabilser

To date have not found a solution to removing video shake with PAL. Many software solutions seem to work extremely well with NTSC however when it comes to PAL I always get a lot of jittering that is worse than the original shake.

Can anyone is OZ or another PAL country recomend a video stabiliser that does not produce jitters (software (pref) or hardware).

Cheers

Hei

I use Steady Move Pro from 2d2 as a plug-in to Adobe Premiere Elements. It’s really good!

I have used DeShaker with great success on 1080i HDV Cineform intermediates. This is 50 fields/sec so I would expect just as good on SD PAL.

I've not seen anything that does significantly better than the free DeShaker plugin for VirtualDub (also free). Works just fine for PAL (and NTSC and anything else I've thrown at it).

I also use Deshaker with both PAL and NTSC - 1080i Cineform Intermediate. Excellent results but painful render times.
