GoPro Cam & Vegas?

Hi,
I am interested in the new GoPro HD Camera. I use Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 and DVDA for all my video editing. I would like to know if anyone has ever uploaded from the GoPro's SD card into Vegas? If you have, I'm sure you did so from their standard defination camera due to the new HD being released this month. If you have, could you please advise me how to go about it such as settings, etc.? If not, do you have any suggestions how to place it on mini-dv for downloading into Vegas? Your help would be most appreciated. Thanks, Ray

This looks like it "should" open in Vegas, but who knows until you try? Contact the manufacturer, and request some raw sample footage in the original .mp4 (not .flv) format. That way you can find out for yourself and let us know.

Many "pocket cam" models cheat on the AVCHD standards, or don't use them at all, so must utilize workarounds to be opened in Vegas.
