GoPro to AC3 Studio Crash

I've managed to duplicate a much more complicated issue with a very simple project. On 64 bit Windows 7, this project crashes consistently using 64 bit Vegas 9.0e, 10.0e or 11.0 (425) when rendering to AC3 Studio. It takes a few repeated renders to trigger the crash.

Deleting either audio track fixes the issue. This indicates the GoPro audio and the music are OK on their own but not together. The project renders perfectly every time when the audio is included within the video.

These GoPro videos are short, straight from the camera and render quickly but others cause the same issue.

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone can download the project and see if it causes the same issue or shed any light on the problem? If you can open the project and render to AC3 Studio twenty times in a row, I'd say it works fine for you and I need to work out what's broken on both my computers.

I downloaded your project and opened it in Vegas Pro 11. I made no changes but rendered just as I opened it to the Dolby AC-3 Studio Stereo DVD template.

It was successful 20 times in a row. Now, I'm going to go help my wife in the kitchen.

Finished in the kitchen.

I extracted a fresh copy of the project from the zip file and ran it in Vegas Pro 10.0e. I was able to render 20 times successfully. When I shut down Vegas I got the following crash. I reopened the project and rendered a twenty-first time in Vegas Pro 10.0e.

I extracted a fresh copy of the project from the zip file and ran it it Vegas Pro 9.0e. I was able to render 20 times successfully.

Wow, thanks for the quick work. I know it sounds silly, like why worry about the odd crash but it's part of an automated workflow so a crash becomes critical.

I guess that means something is broken on my computers. I'll keep pulling my hair out.

Cheers.
