No but there's a number of other 'grippy' things around. I have looked at this one a number of times but am left wondering how much use it'd be for a video camera compared to a still camera. Still it's pretty cheap and light so it wouldn't hurt to have one in the kit bag.

One of the favourites around is the Cinesaddle but it's kind of expensive and big.
