I found a fix for your Acid latency problem.

Download Sampletank Free2 and the free instruments.

You have to register it (free) and after you install it, copy the zipped instruments into the Freeinstruments folder.

Then it becomes a VSTi plugin with no latency.

You should be able to select an instrument and use it as a soft synth. in Acid or any other host.

Anyone else without an expensive sound card will like it.

Nickle! You are too good . .. I have just come down with a second attack of throat and chest stuff . . took a powder around 5:30am and went back to bed - - uhhhhhh . . Lay in bed and couldn't shift what is layiong on my chest and came to my Compaq . . . . and here you are .. Good man! Thank you . . not been a good 10 days for me . . .

However, I'm up - latency with ACID .. ah yes . . I guess it should work wth Veags too?

You may need to get an inhaler from the doc. to loosten that stuff up, it sounds like phnuemonia (spelling?) if you feel like something is sitting on your chest.
