You didn't give any details, but let me take a guess. Did you shoot your footage with a point-and-shoot? They are notorious for vertical flare/streaking when shooting toward bright lights. Note the streak eminating from the wall light in the following capture:
If this is not the case, post some more details. Type of camera? Maybe a screencapture or link to one of your YouTube videos.
i was getting this too. i solved it by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. My videos were duplicated, too, one complete video above the green line and one below.
No, its like Cmallam says, green line through the centre horizontally and the video is duplicated.I dont think I should have to switch to FireFox to get past this though, must be an easier solution.
Guess I can't help you there, but I Googled "horizontal green line YouTube" and it there are some suggestions that you might need to update your display adapter driver.
Just to clarify, i don't have this problem at home, but in a large corporate environment where video drivers may not be optimized, flash is probably several iterations behind and users are locked out of performing any upgrades.
Yep. That's another reason why when i deliver a video that just has to play right the first time in an iffy environment, no excuses allowed, i go straight to MPEG-1 and don't even consider any alternatives.
It Just Plain Works, and sometimes what you need is a big dose of the ol' JPW.
