Green screen goes black instead of having it be transparent.

i've been trying to use green screen effects in my videos but it just makes it black i'm fuming its so dumb and i don't see a fix because i don't see a lot of people having this issue and another thing whenever i apply a chroma key it goes to every clip not just the one i had selected. thats what happens even if a clip was under it so annoying

@Austin276 Hi. I am a little bit confused by this comment. You have to use the effect on your clip (not on your preview window). If you apply the chroma keyer the background turns "black" (which means the alpha channel is used).
