Greeneish thumbnails and preview of mp4 file

I have a mp4 file, when I import it in movie studio 12 platinum the preview and thumbs are green like this:

The file then plays and renders normally, in the render the last frame is green too.

Do you know what causes this and how to fix this?

EDIT: Solved. Keyframe index (aka stss atom) was missing in mp4 file.

How are you recording the file?

I'm recording with my own little program, using GDCL mp4 muxer directshow filter. I think there is problem with the index, but I don't know how to check it. Is there any software to inspect the contents of a mp4 file?

Ok, I found the error, I forgot to write keyframe index table (stss) into mp4 file. Now it works perfectly in Movie Studio and other editors
