Steve I can’t see the image. Are you doing a garbage mask?, you could be a frame or 2 off between the mask and the clip
Your shadow could be checked in motion track
You might try turning "off" anti-alias in Event Pan/Crop if your using the Mask track.
That's helped me before when I see the edge of a mask. That's if the Shadow isn't on...

I finally got back to this project. anti Alias on or off - no difference.
Any other tips would be appreciated. Here's the problem again - you can see the mask outline in the composited image.
Just a guess, but make sure your chromakey FX is applied before the pan/crop mask? The pre/post toggle on Chromakey should be pointing to the left (ie FX before crop).
But I'm just guessing. Since it seems like only the edge of the mask is visible, I was thinking that the chromakey was being applied to the masked video, rather than chromakeying the video and then applying masking to keep the good part.
