Hi guys; I'm new to this program, I just finished edit 2 hours of my friends wedding. Problem is I'm trying to deete the first 3 minute intro at the beginning of the project (which was easy enought) but now I have a 3 min. space. I think I'm suppose to doa group edit but it dosen't work. How do I select the group I want to move? How do you eliminate the 3 min. space or insert a new intro that only runs 2 1/2 min long?
Thanks for any help
Ralph

I'm not sure what you are getting at? You chopped 3 minutes off the front of the video and are now left with a gap there? Just grab the rest of the video on the timeline and slide it to the left until it bumps up against the startline.

If the space is completely empty across all tracks, double-click inside the empty space to select it, then press the Delete key to delete it. Everything to the right will move back in sync to fill in the space.

Chienworks is right -- just double-click on the empty space and delete it. But this will only work if you have the RIPPLE EDIT button activated.

Deleting the 3 seconds is easiest, but for future reference if you want to group something you can use the selection tool. Edit> Selection Tool, right click on the video and choose Group> Create New from the shortcut menu. The selection is now grouped until you right click and choose Group> Clear.
