group help

I have movie studio 8.0 and need help with speed up of Playback.

I have all my video clips back to back in the Timeline.

I then select the First clipc the Hold the Shift key and slect the Last video clip.

Now they are all Highlited.

I then try Group them all so I go to Group make new and thy don't group.

I then try Group Select All.

That does not group them.

I need to group them all togather so I can the Drag the last clip to the Left and make it shrink so I can make my clip play faster?

After you group your events hold Ctrl key and drag last clip.

Have you checked to see if your events are truly grouped?

If you drag on one, do they all move as a single block of clips?

If so, then Byron's recommendation should work. If you hold down the Ctrl key and drag from the end, the entire group of clips should compress and play faster.
