See i had this event on the T/L that I really, really didn't want. A few minutes of T&B from the cameraman not having a fully rewound tape. So in the Vegas Explorer I delete the file, Yes Vegas, I do want it gone, Yes I want it Offline, Yes Windoz I do want to send it to the Recycling Bin. But still it's ghost sits on the T/L.
Fine, I delete it from the T/L. Just to really exorcise the gremlin I delete it from the Recycling Bin, Yes Mr Gates I really want it GONE!

So overnight this project gets opened by the MultiRender script but aarrgh, not on your nelly, no way is it going to render this project, it's still got a ghost in it, sitting there in the Project Media, damn it all I forgot to hit it with the Lightning Bolt, seems a wooden stake through the heart isn't enough to kill a demon in Vegas.

So here's my first feature request for Vegas 8, a Delete thingy that does.

Bob.

I never had a problem with this.

First delete the file from the MediaPool and allow deleting also the timeline reference (you might select the MediaPool file from the timeline).

Then delete the file from the Vegas Explorer and save the project.
