Hang after WMV encoding

Anybody had this - after 100% encoding a 50 minute WMV from DV AVI, V4 hangs, with an error msg ""The procedure entry point WMCreateBackupRestorer could not be located in the dynamic link library WMVCore.dll" . OK on shorter (1 minute) segments. 80GB spare on data HDD.

Variously, Vegas recovers on 'OK', crashes (closes app), or seizes the whole PC.

V4.0d , XP, Athlon 2600+ 1GB RAM.

What version of wmvcore.dll do you have on your system? You should find it in C:\windows\system32 on XP. (Mine is 9.0.2980)

It does sound like this problem could be specific to large renders. What WMV9 template were you using?
