Have you had this happen?

On my Vista 64 laptop (HP) anytime I do a color selection area I get a dark almost black color. For example, when selecting an area with the eyedropper in the chroma key FX the selection rectangle gets black lines in it when I drag. The FX then picks up the color as being very dark. I CAN use a single point with the eyedropper. It is just when I drag that it adds the black to it.

Anyone else with this or is this an individual annoyance?

It's a known issue. You'll find the darkness is creeping in, because it is picking up the black from the incorrect screen drawing. If you're quick with your drawing, you can get an area with very little black in, so your color correction comes out abouyt what you're intending..
