Pretty much every time I do something and Vegas behaves in a way that makes no sense I eventually go back and find what I did wrong. So, I must be missing something here, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get around it.
I've followed the various ways to make subclips from the advice from my last post. Now all the subs are in the media pool, all named and in their folders so I can get at them easily and know which clip it is w/o listening to it.
So I tried to open my main veg file for this project and drop and drag the media pool from the other veg where I created all the subs. I can drop and drag the media pool, but when I do it loses all the sub clip names I went to all the trouble of making. Is there any way to preserve these subclip names?
Also, I bought and tried tsunami. When I use the save good takes script in it on my wave file, I get a warning "invalid media object" and no sub clips are made as far as I can tell.
Totally losing it at this point, and am sorry to make such a fuss, but would appreciate any help here, especially on my first question.
