Having problems rendering with Jpegs

When I render this specific file with 12 jpeg (quicktime) pictures it always freezes up about 1/4 the way through while rendering.
Anyone know why this could be?

You might check your drive space and the folders where temp files and prerenders are going...

Rendering the project to.....?

If the above suggestion doesnt work, can you convert your jpegs to something else, or maybe save them in another app?
