Having trouble speed ramping in Vegas Movie Studio 17

I add media to the timeline - split media where I want it - add markers - when I right click on the media nothing about velocity comes up in the box ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What velocity? Suspect you are referring to a Vegas Pro feature which isn't in VMS.
