How do I convert my videos from Vegas 8.0 hd so that I can post them on different web sites?

I shoot with an hdr-hc5. I need to compress them I suppose but am struggling with this.

Any advice?

If you are only going for Youtube, you just use the "full screen PSP" 1mbps template under Sony AVC.
