I work with nothing but M2T and I can honestly say that I have never seen that problem before.

Is it in the original file... in other words do you see this if plug the cam directly into the TV?

Yes if you plug the cam into the tv you see it but not in full HD, for hd video out, I must use cam component output or pc out hdmi.

If you see it in the original file then my TOTAL GUESS would be a failing CCD.... and if that's the case, it may be time to consider a new cam.

yes, but if a new cam cost to much i can't buy a new... i know sony full hd are the best, but they are to much expensive for me... i buy the best cam for lowest price i find, and this is the result (at the moment)...

sorry my english

The problem is definitely in the cam if it is being seen on the original file. The only thing you can do at this point is bring it in to service and have an "Estimate to Repair" done. This will tell you whether or not it's worth it.

In the mean time, you can always RENT a cam to continue your work.

LOL!

Sorry... I thought you were trying to describe a PROBLEM you were having with your video. You were not very specific as to what you stating in your first post.

And again... I am sorry but to be honest, to me it does not look like an old film effect. The fact that I saw this as a problem instead of old film when I knew nothing if what you were trying to do, is a good indication that the effect did not work.

It is too methodical... or precise. It needs to be more random. The dots you have flashing across the video are too perfectly round. The edging of the video is at too constant of a fade condition. The overall color of the video is too consistent.

Vegas has some EXCELLENT old film effect filters... scratching, jumping, fading... etc. If you apply these in sort of a RANDOM manner, it would look a lot better.

The audio is also very important and many people tend to overlook it. If the video looks old and the audio sounds new, then the audience instantly sees that there is something wrong. So You need to add some popping, hiss, and noise to the audio track

But the important thing is to make sure it is all random... and large, perfectly round dots flashing on the screen is not really random.

No man sorry to you, my english is imperfect for explain, may be you don't trust to me but the dots and imperfection are capture from real "old white film strip" ... and i don't like scratching, jumping, fading they are all the same for all the old film effect filters, i hope you understand....but like you say the effect don't work and the audio too.

Thank ciao

Your English is fine... my wife is Russian.... I am Canadian so English is her second language as well... I am used to this.

Wants really counts is if the effect works for YOU. If you think it is good.... then it is good!
