Hi all,

as posted in other topics I have problems in rendering AVCHD format.
My main goal is to get 5.1 audio and 1980x1080i PAL video to master a BD disk of my holiday.
1) Is the AVCHD the correct format?

I'm able to get 1980x1080i PAL rendered video throw MainConcept template;
2) Now, how can I get the 5.1 AUDIO track?

And more,
3) to burn the BD disk (from other thread I read that Vegas hangs even in such operation) how can I combine AUDIO and VIDEO?
4) does the BD mastering software do that for me? I'm waiting the Lacie BD writer so I don't know which software come in bundle

Thanks..

Ok,

I now can answer by myself.
I have Vegas chashing when rendering with AVCHD 1920x1080-50i 5.1 Audio, as well known from other threads it is a bug.

But I don't have problem when rendering with Sony AVC and 1920x1080-50i video stream only. So to get my m2ts file I now do the following:
1) Render with the Sony AVC 1920x1080-50i template video stream only
2) Render with the .ac3 template to get the audio track 5.1.
3) use TsMuxer (with default option) to join both video and audio... chosing to output a m2ts file.

It works... and I get somethings that is very fine in quality. Now the question is: do I get the same thing as rendering directly with Vegas?
