i should know by now, but having spent an hour searching here and there, i still can't find a straight forward answer... if you know the thread i need, please point me in the right direction and i'll happily read it.
i have been happily churning out dvd's created from my original hdv m2t's. and, as a safety / archive precaution, printing the m2t to tape.
now, most of my programs are around 1/2hour, which makes it impractical to burn the edited m2t file to dvd unless i use double sided - let's not go there thank you.
i keep reading about blu ray but usually in reference to playing back / through tv with a blu ray player....
can i burn a blu ray file to dvd for simple playback on a pc?
if so, what's the correct / best method.
and if this is a dumb question, well, i have asked dumber questions i'm sure,
