HDR-SR1 Support

Will Vegas 7 support capture from the Sony HDR-SR100 and (upcoming) HDR-SR1 camcorders?

The Sony press release indicated it would be supportedin Vegas 7.

I talked to a sales rep the other day and he said that Vegas will support capturing from the HDR-SR1 in SD mode only. Due to the MPEG4 compression, it won't support capture in HD footage. Instead, you'll need to use supposed software to capture and then import into Vegas.

As I'd mentioned in another thread, you'll still need to use the reader, which is similar to a capture process. Works pretty well.
