HDR10+ dynamic metadata support for export?

Hi, I was wondering if HDR10+ support for export, with dynamic metadata, has ever been discussed? Or is that just falling behind in things that are supported by TVs?

Dolby Vision seems to be the industry standard for almost every service and 4k Blu rays, I assume dolby vision is never coming due to licensing fees?

I was thinking of getting davinci resolve this holiday because I want the dolby vision layer on my HDR content, and have hdr10 as a backup. That is included in davinci, right? And you just can't change the trims unless you have a license? But that just seems like such a waste since I like vegas pro better, and will probably get an upgrade when Vegas supports prores raw.

Is there any chance to get dolby vision in vegas pro?

As of now, there are not any plans that have been announced regarding Dolby Vision. If enough people ask for it, it's possible that maybe a paid upgrade option could be made available. I haven't heard anything of HDR10+ yet either, but I would imagine we'd see support for it, an open standard, before something proprietary like Dolby.

Most cameras out there these days don't even have the dynamic range to max out HDR10 at this point, but it would be nice to be able to use all 12 bits when I'm recording content in RAW, so I too would like to see support for the more advanced HDR formats. Hopefully sometime down the road we'll see it come. This wheel will squeak for it.

If Magix includes ProRes RAW with HDR support (even if just standard HDR10 at first) that for me would be a major step up. HDR is no good for some users if it cannot be included in an established professional codec format.
