HDV Capture

I use Vegas 8.0 and am trying to capture native HDV from my Z1U. I was able to capture 6 or 7 projects in HDV, but now it seems as if the Sony VidCap does not recognize my camera. I've double checked the cam output settings and down convert is off. If I select capture in DV, VidCap sees the Z1U. Any suggestions?

Look in the Z1U "edit/play" menu. Set iLink to DV or HDV, not auto.

I would check your preferences and make sure VidCap60.EXE is unchecked in the Video options menu. VidCap is for DV only, and is separate from the HDV capture utility in Vegas Pro.
