I'm working on an SD DVD using all HDV footage, a "fairly" famous gent in a small semi-acoustic concert with a couple other supporting players. Targeted using this footage for HD delivery when the time is right, releasing SD DVD in the meantime.

3 cameras, all on legs, two camera people, not too bad of a mix of views. One Sony FX1, two HC7 cams.

My question before I do much experimenting: Does the HDV hold up well in a slight pan/crop in HD footage, and what should my limits be? I know I have lots of leeway with SD, but trying to leverage my editing for both at once if possible.

I have some nice cuts/transitions for SD, but wanted to add that extra touch where I can without having to redo the whole edit for BD delivery.
