I for one would like to see a movie like iRobot filmed and projected at 120 fps. Imagine how cool that would be to see those things where they actually looked real enough to touch. I think the real determining factor between TV's realism and Film's fantasy is the lighting more than the framerate. I have no proof of course, just theorizing. But it would be nice to see a blind test of a cinema quality movie at both frame rates and see which is prefered. Besides, you don't hear people talking about how much more memorable and believable 22Khz sound is over 44 Khz sound. Perhaps everyone believes that 24fps is the best because no one has given 120fps a decent try.
