Hebrew Language Support

Hello. Thank you in advance for your help. I did a basic search, but found nothing, so I guess I need to post. I am a newbie at video.
I am trying to make a teaching video about Hebrew liturgical chant. The idea is to record myself singing a-cappella a few times, sync the tracks, and then show the Hebrew words on screen as I sing. This should help people learn how to sing. (I need to cut and paste from MS Word and/or Publisher.)
I followed the instructions in the Interactive Tutorials about adding titles to the video track. However, when I cut and paste from MS Publsiher, the Hebrew characters come out backwards (left to right) in the Media Generator, and the vowel points push the letters apart.
How can I make the Hebrew characters come out forwards (right to left) when I paste? And how can I have it so the vowel points do not push the letters apart?
Thank you very much for your help.
Norman

Hi Norman. I don't know if Vegas can properly handle Hebrew character right-left. Try it without pasting and see if you have the same problems. If so, I would suggest creating images (from Publisher if possible) and putting those in your Vegas timeline. Do you have a function in Publisher that allows you to export JPEGs? If so, you'll need to export each word as a still image and then drop them in your Vegas timeline. Without knowing exactly how you want it to look I can't tell if that will work or not. When you're finished I'd love to see the product!
