Sorry, it looks like there is a mask when
i move it outside of its boundries.
It's kind of difficult to explain,
but in the pan crop window there's the box
(with which you adjust size and position with)
inside of the box is the image displayed,
and the size and position of the image
are based on relation to the size and
position of the box. When the box is moved
to the edge of the image the picture is cut off
at that point. I would use track motion
but i'm working with small details
and track motion can be difficult with that
because it deals with the whole track.
I hope I made this clearer and didn't
confuse you more. I've heard other
people talk about this problem too
so i don't think I'm alone.

Elias - "there will be an invisible mask" - this I don't understand. Is there a possiblity for you to do a "screen" grab and post it somewhere so we can all see what you are getting at?

Is it possible that you used the pan/crop button on the track heading, instead of on the individual clip? This would make it impossible to resize any larger than the track setting...

That is the "cropping" feature of Pan/Crop. Crop is when you mask parts of the image. It appears to be resizing, but actually it is cropping the edge of the picture, determined by the boundaries.
Track motion is probably what you are looking for.

Grazie: I don't have a website, but I'd love you send you an e-mail if you want. Dave: I also tried this with the 3D LE plug-in fx, which did the exact same thing. Cyanide, I'm not sure how to do it to the whole track, but I'm almost positive that I haven't. Thanks for the help.

I'm in VV3 by the way. Thought i might try to make this a bit clearer-it's not a mask, but the part which is over the edge disappears (is cropped off). What dave said made sense, but i don't understand why it would happen with 3D LE.
