Help!

I'm trying to use a video file as a motion menu and I cannot figure how to do it. Could someone either point me to the section in the manual which explains this (I have looked) or give me some tips? The video is fine I just cannot get it to act like a menu where I can place links on top of it.

Also when using video as a motion menu can the text links be delayed in regards to when they appear on the screen?

Thanks,

Marc

Assuming you're using DVDA3, yes, the appearance of buttons can be delayed. Can't remember how, but this is one of the new features.

To make video a Menu background, open the Background Media Tab under Menu Page Properties, and lift the clip from Explorer and drop into the Video Background box to replace whatever's there.

Look at "Setting loop points for menus" in the Helpfile

Thank you,

It was as simple as Edit>Set Background Media to set a video file as the main menu.

To make the text/video links (created in DVD Architect) delay their appearence you just select the menu and go to the general tab and then adjust the loop point to the time you would like the links to appear. Very easy.

Thanks,
