Help about having two different versions of VEGAS

Hello,

I am only a beginner in editing and I have been using Vegas Pro 14 for the past years but recently decided to upgrade it to Vegas 18 since I heard it is the best version yet. However, I'd like to know a couple of things before I do so.

1. The plugins I have installed for vegas 14 will work on vegas 18? Do i need to reinstall them or anything?
2. Is there a way to move the presets I have on vegas 14 to vegas 18 or do I need to create them or download them all over again?
3. Do the projects I have on vegas 14 work on vegas 18? (as in, can I open the files in the most recent version)
4. Last but not least, can anything get mixed up in the installation for having two different versions of Vegas on the same PC?

1. Some do, but most probably they are only for that version or have to be renewed.
2. Set them all in a project in 14 and open that project in 18 and give them there the name again.
3. Yess, unless you used things that are not installed for the new version.
4. No, they can be used together.

To expand on #1, All RETAIL PURCHASED plugins will work fine in both versions (you will not need to reinstall - Vegas Pro 18 will automatically see them).

Any BUNDLED products may watermark - it will depend on the product but I'd say most were bundled to only work in 14. However, they'll still show up in 18, you'll just get a watermark.

What version of windows are you using? VP18 requires Windows 10.
