A simple Google and/or forum search for "Fonts don't show up in Vegas", will give you your answer. I don't mean to sound rude, but I generally do a search on my own before I ask a question on this forum. All too often people here just ask questions without doing some work on their own.

All you have to do is copy and paste it into your Windows Fonts folder. Then open Vegas, it should show up with every front you have in that folder. Give that a try.

The OP has already done so. The problem is that some fonts don't show up in Vegas despite a correct installation. They work fine in legacy text but not in the other Vegas text generators.

If you are using the Titles and Text media generator then this is a known bug in T&T with many types of fonts. The Legacy text and Protype media generators normally work with any font.

Some T&T workarounds discussed in this thread.

This has been discussed quite a few times. One trick is to open Word, type something using the desired font, copy, and then paste into your Text and Titles box. It's claimed that you can then use that font in Vegas without any further problems. I've never tried this since I've never had a problem. There are so many advantages of using T&T rather than the older Legacy Text. It's worth a try.

@wwag - that was great advice, it worked!

I have a similar font problem. The font does appear as an option in VP13 but it isn't the correct font. The good news is that I find that WWAG is correct. If I create my text in WORD and paste it into VP13, it works perfectly. This is a "work-around" solution I can live with.

Thanks to the OP, I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. But as I said, this isn't a biggie.

I have the same problem here. The alternative workaround found by wwaag works. Thanks!
